Photography.

Slow down. Look properly. Don't delete.

since Apr 2026 · weekly walks · 35mm prime

The Why

Because I forgot what I had seen.

The camera is a small device that makes you slow down for long enough to actually look. I had been moving through the world too fast for too long — through Bangalore traffic, through email, through someone else’s expectations of what my day should look like.

I am learning the boring, unsexy parts. The exposure triangle. Composition. The discipline of not deleting photos before I have looked at them properly. There is a temptation, with phones, to immediately judge what you just made. I am trying to leave a roll for a week before I look.

The end goal is small. I want to make one image a month that I would still defend a year later.

The first roll I refused to delete from.

The Log

Newest first. The honest version.
